Our client needed a sure-fire way to grow business with their existing mid-sized customers, win a greater share of their wallet and reinvigorate the trading relationship with former loyal customers whose level of business had declined. Careful selection of those customers, realistic targeting and personal communication from the outset ensured a high level of engagement from registration right through to qualification.The bespoke event website allowed each customer to monitor progress against their target throughout the campaign, with regular email updates used to unveil further details of the trip and encourage interaction with the site.
Abu Dhabi was chosen due to its attractive winter and spring climate, excellent flight access, great value for money and superb standards of hospitality. The 4-day programme allowed guests to explore the best that Abu Dhabi has to offer while being thoroughly pampered and also left them time to relax and choose their own activities on an individual basis.
80% of those invited registered for the campaign, with 71% going on to qualify – a significant uplift on previous results. Growth in sales during the campaign was 136% of target and a significant upward spend pattern was maintained after the end of the qualifying period.
Feedback on the trip was overwhelmingly positive with over 95% of participants rating it as very good or excellent and confirming their intention to participate in future incentive campaigns.
