Lift the trophy with Football Incentives!

Life the trophy with these Football Incentives!

The world cup is upon us! With Russia being a tricky place to send people on an incentive, we've come up with some ways you can still watch/enjoy the World Cup without attending. Football will always spark debates and when a big tournament is on, it'll be the topic of the month. The below are perfect incentive ideas for your employees, showing that you can bring the fun of football into work!

1. Football Shirt Incentive
Why not incentivise your workers with a new England shirt? Then depending on what environment you're working in and if there are no important client meetings, let them wear their shirt for 'Dress Down Friday' this way they'll feel at ease at work and will have something to talk about to each other. If you have a tight budget, you can still do the latter half, or have your own company football t-shirts specially made.

2. Fantasy Football League
Welcome the competitive streak with a fantasy football league, choose your players from around the world to create a team, within your team you'll be given points on a basis of goals and if your team members play, amongst other things. It'll be the talk of the office and will bring in good spirit and team talk.

3. Sweep Stake
A really simple way of embracing the World Cup is with a Sweep Stake. Write down every country involved in the World Cup and throw it into a hat, get everyone to pay and then the winner keeps all. If you wanted to treat your employees, you could put money in yourself, for example £100, and then the winner gets to keep the money, when they leave for the day they'll feel lucky to be able to work in an establishment that does such competitions.

4. Pub Vouchers
The pub is where most people will probably be watching the football so why not create a target for your employees, and if they hit it they win some pub vouchers, so they can sip on that hard-earned pint whilst watching the football. The same goes for your customer, perhaps if you set a target spend then they can win some vouchers!

5. Showcase a Game
For those people who work in shift patterns or work in the evening, why not set up a TV or projector screen in the office so that they can enjoy the football and know that you are thinking about them.
