Top 5 Spa Destinations

Winter can be stressful can't it? The thought of getting Christmas shopping, the cold and darkness can all seem a bit daunting. The last couple of months in the year can be a drag and people are bound to feel less motivated when they've got so much else on their mind. You could help raise productivity with some nice incentives – like a relaxing spa day. Who wouldn't look forward to a heated pool, massages, hot tubs with a tasty lunch and probably prosecco! Below A&I have come up with our top spa destinations for you, some expensive and some not!

Champneys
Starting off with one of the most well-known in the spa world. Champneys caters for the perfect overnight stay as they are mostly situated in natural surroundings away from the hectic world we live in. The locations are Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire and Kent. Champneys are renown for offering exceptional standards in all areas from beauty and fitness to nutrition and wellbeing. If you're lucky you might spot a celebrity as Champneys seems to be the place they pick to unwind, every kind of celebrity from royalty, sporting legends, actors and singers from all walks of life have visited the five locations. You could be sharing a Jacuzzi with David Beckham – you never know!

Marriott Spas
Located all over the UK, the Marriott Spa is the ideal place to chill out, mostly placed within Hotels, Country Clubs, Manors and Stately Homes all of which are in beautiful parklands. There are many different packages you can have to help you relax and unwind from massages, manicures, pedicures and facials. After the treatments you can have a relaxing swim in the pool to work up an appetite for a light lunch or afternoon tea!

Ragdale Hall
Melton Mowbray, the land of the pork pie, is also home to this sophisticated spa. So, whether you're looking to start off your New Year's resolution at the gym or just want to have some time to yourself a relaxing weekend away may be just the thing. Feel all your tension melt away in the thermal spa or take full advantage of the new rooftop infinity pool and lounge.

Gilpin Hotel & Lake House
If isolation appeals to you then where better to relocate than to the Lake District? Embrace the fresh countryside air. The lake house is designed for two people to stay and disconnect from the world. Therapists will use many different aromatherapy oils to ensure you are at your most relaxed. You can go through the garden to the thermal pool and sauna and then to the spa, a wooden cabin that can hold the doors open whilst you receive your treatments which gives you lovely views of the Gilpin Lake whilst your tension melts away into your massage. After this you can carry on your cosy afternoon by drowning yourself in furry throws and blankets whilst you watch over the lake and indulge yourself in afternoon-tea.

We could pick out many more spas that we think are first class in the UK, but then we'd be here all day. So, if any of the above – or any others not on the list that appeal to you, then get in touch. We can cater for incentive, recognition or loyalty treats, team days out or if you like the look of the building and want to host an event there, we've got it covered!
